Supervision Approach

Jess is committed to supporting aspiring social workers thrive in their professional journey. Jess has worked in a variety of settings including emergency departments, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient mental health, and jail-based substance use and reentry programs bringing practical knowledge and expertise to supervision.

Jess specializes in perinatal mental health and substance use/addictions. Jess has worked with a variety of diverse populations including veterans, first responders, individuals involved with the criminal justice system, LGBTQIA+ folks, and those practicing non-monogamy/polyamory. Jess’ use of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and SFT ensures supervises gain exposure to proven therapeutic approaches.

Jess is passionate about empowering LSWs to build confidence, refine their skills, and grow as compassionate, competent clinicians. Her supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you achieve your professional goals while maintaining healthy work-life balance.
